Welcome to 8th Grade Earth Science.  
The 8th grade curriculum for the 2011/2012 school year will focus on scientific method and measurement, Geology, Periodic Table of Elements, Meteorolgy and Astronomy.  We are continuing to develop the new curriculum as we go, so changes may occur in the calendar from time to time as we revise and update ideas, activities, quizzes and tests.  Please check your childs agenda book often.  I write the weeks activities on the board Monday morning and it will be a good reference if this web page is down or not updated.  Also remember to check your childs progress on schoolmaster pass which is updated daily as I add grades to the gradebook.  Please email me if you have any questions as a student or a parent, by clicking on the email link on the staff web page directory. I hope we have a great year together.
